Our intention was to deliver to the Presidents folders with our construction projects alternative housing PET bottles popular.
We did not approach the Presidents. The organization of the event, in the hands of Itamaraty, was very strict. The Presidents were for a few minutes Square and would not approach the hundreds of people waiting more than 3 hours to see their leaders.
Below we publish the letters we wrote to the Presidents. Hopefully by this means at some point we can get our pose come to them.

We can not miss this opportunity we today provides power in their hands give this small but great project that can be helpful to minimize the housing shortage we live in Uruguay.
Fondly we ask that you observe with particular care the possibility of at least discuss this with those responsible for housing.
I commented also that the June 17 in the city of Tacuarembo we delivered to the Minister of Housing Graciela Muslera folder including low-income housing project using this technique.
5 years ago I went back to Uruguay after having lived more than 30 years outside the country where I have collected several experiences in building alternatives. This technique was applied in Young, Department of Black River. Also being applied in other parts of the country and even in other countries, provided an alternative and not as we intend to support government structures, whether national or departmental level. Although our room at Young was declared by the Board Black Rio Departmental local interest and we recently received a letter from the Uruguayan Parliament somehow expressing appreciation for our initiative is to enclose a copy letter.
Our Intention is defined in a nutshell: we want to work and collaborate.

I am Brazilian . My name is Veronica. My husband is Hugo Peña, Uruguay. Our children are Americans and we now have a small Uruguayan two years. We are a typical frontier family.
But despite all the typical we have something unusual: a project of building houses with PET bottles. Yes, my husband is home, and instead of bricks uses PET bottles. The house is very good, warm in winter and chilled in summer, strong and beautiful. The bottles will air filled each one with its lid. Sai very cheap, 70% cheaper than a common house brick, and much better, much more decent than any wooden house siding or even plastic that we see in any Brazilian favela.
President know, a house such as the ones that make my husband greatly enhances the quality of life of any poor family in Brazil, Uruguay or anywhere in the world, and it costs very little. And another really important thing: remove all the environmental montoeira of PET bottles that are thrown around. It is also easy, very easy to do. Anyone with a little knowledge of construction, without any training, can raise the walls of PET bottles.
We could not lose this opportunity where the presidents of our two countries meet here on our border . And this opportunity come to ask you to look fondly our project. We are very ambitious in the sense that these people want to see Brazilian and Uruguayan living better. And that we make available to us, and please ask the opportunity to at least have an open discussion about this project.
